Southwark man charged with shooting in Notting Hill

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting in Notting Hill last year.

Nathan Tokosi, 24, of Grove Street, Southwark, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday,  February charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition without a certificate.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, March 18.

Police were called just after 2am on Monday, November 20 last year following reports of a shooting in Clydesdale Road.

Specialist firearms officers were among those responding.

Officers found a man in his 20s with gunshot injuries. He was taken to a west London hospital, where his condition was later assessed as not life-threatening following emergency surgery.
