Teenage boy shot in Lambeth is in critical condition

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was shot in Lambeth.

Police were called at 22:13hrs on Tuesday, 22 January to a reports of a shooting at Unity Close, West Norwood.

Officers attended and a 16-year-old boy was located close the scene suffering from gunshot injuries.

Officers administered first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service [LAS].

The boy was taken by LAS to a south London hospital where his condition is currently critical.

His next of kin have informed.

There have been no arrests at this time.

The investigation is being led by detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command.
