Teenage boy takes himself to hospital after being knifed

A teenage boy took himself to hospital after he was stabbed in broad daylight yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to a South London hospital at around 3pm yesterday after a 17-year-old boy arrived with a stab wound. 

He was assaulted a short time earlier in Chislehurst Road in Sidcup, the Met have confirmed.

The teenager’s condition was later assessed as not life-threatening and his next of kin have been informed.

The attacker is still on the loose as police launch an investigation into the incident.

A spokesperson for the Met said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. 

“There have been no arrests. 

“Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD  4609/10Oct.”
