Teenager taken to hospital after another Croydon stabbing
A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed just a short distance from the scene where teenager Elianne Andam was killed last week.
Police were called at around 1am this morning to reports of a stabbing in Lloyd Park, Croydon.
Police attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a stab wound.
Police confirmed his condition was “not life-threatening or life-changing”.
The Met have confirmed that the attacker is still on the loose as they launch an investigation into the stabbing.
The incident comes less than a week after the fatal stabbing of Ms Andam, 15, in Wellesley Road on Wednesday morning.
A 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons has been charged with Ms Andam’s murder and possession of a weapon in public.
A spokeswoman from the Met said: “Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 259/03Oct.
“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
