Teenagers charged with GBH over O2 Arena stabbing

Police investigating a stabbing at the O2 Arena in Greenwich have charged three teenagers.

Two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old were charged with GBH and possession of a bladed article on Thursday, February 23.

The three appeared in custody at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on Friday and were bailed to next appear at the same court on March 10.

At around 2.45pm on Wednesday of last week, police were called by the London Ambulance Service to The O2 in Peninsula Square, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended. A teenage male was found with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
