Two arrested after man stabbed to death

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death last night.

Police were called at around 10.35pm to reports of a stabbing in Carteret Way, Deptford.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended but despite their best efforts the victim, a man believed aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed, police said.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

A police cordon remains in place at the crime scene this morning.
