Urgent search under way for runaway mental health patient

Police have launched an appeal to find a man who has absconded from a mental health hospital.

Antony Antorka-Pieri left a hospital in Woolwich on Friday, March 8, where he was receiving treatment for his mental health condition.

Officers and medical professionals say they are concerned for the 43-year-old’s welfare.

Enquiries over the past week show he has been travelling across Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley, possibly by bus.

Anyone who sees Antony should not approach him. Instead, call 999 immediately, quoting the reference 01/78296/24.
