Vulnerable people in Lambeth given seeds to grow their own vegetables during coronavirus crisis

Thousands of vulnerable people are being given seeds and instructions packages by a food co-op so they can grow their own grub.

The Seeds for Life packs include a packet of seeds suitable for
window-sill growing, such as lettuce or cress, growing instructions and a
recipe for people to try out at home.

The seed packs are expected to reach up to 4-6,000 people in Lambeth throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

Lambeth Food Co-op, supported by the Seeds for Life project, has made the packages with 3,000 packs of lettuce seeds donated by Sutton Seeds.
