Woman hit by Met police car in Denmark Hill

A pedestrian was involved in a collision with a Met police car yesterday afternoon.

London Ambulance Service crews were called to the crash, which happened in a road between Camberwell Green and Denmark Hill, at about 1.20pm.

A 27-year-old woman was taken to hospital by paramedics. The Met said her injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.

No police officers required treatment following the incident, the force said.

Road closures were temporarily in place at Denmark Hill and Camberwell New Road.
