Woman in life-threatening condition after being hit by lorry

A 25-year-old woman remains in life-threatening condition after she was hit by a lorry on Wednesday morning.

Police were called at around 7.30am to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian on A2 Shooters Hill Road, Blackheath, near the junction with Duke Humphrey Road. 

Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. 

The woman was taken to hospital where she remains in a life-threatening condition.

Her family have been informed and continue to be supported by officers. 

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Police are investigating the incident and would like to speak with any witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage.

A spokesman from the Met said: “Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1075/08Nov.”
