Northampton Town v Charlton Athletic team news: Addicks unchanged from Plymouth win – but Mavididi is back on the bench

Caretaker Charlton boss Lee Bowyer names an unchanged side for today’s trip to Northampton Town – but is boosted by some big names returning to the bench.

Stephy Mavididi, who hasn’t featured since a 3-2 defeat against Oxford United in early February due to a hamstring injury, is amongst the Addicks substitutes – and he is joined by Ezri Konsa and Josh Magennis who both return from international duty.

Bowyer persists with the starting eleven that saw Plymouth Argyle off at The Valley last weekend and is expected to deploy a 4-4-2 again after it’s success against the Pilgrims – though may go with a flat four in midfield this week rather than a diamond.

Jay Dasilva isn’t available for selection today but could be in contention for a place in the squad for Easter Monday’s home game with Rotherham.
