Queens Park shooting: Appeals for help as man dies of wounds after being shot
Police have named a man who was shot dead in Queen’s Park as they make a renewed appeal for information about his death.
Daneche Tison was shot outside a block of flats in Bruncker Street, north Kensington in the early hours of Tuesday, July 19.
Police were called just before 2am but Daneche was no longer at the scene of the incident, having managed to get to a hospital. He received treatment, but died a short time later.
Officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death while providing support to Daneche’s family.
Seven men, aged between 21 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
A post-mortem examination held on Thursday of last week confirmed Daneche died from a gunshot wound to the heart. He had also suffered a gunshot wound to his back.
