Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre announces outdoor event for the summer

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced more outdoor events, showcasing comedy, theatre, music and outdoor cinema for summer, writes Claudia Lee.

Alistair Green will present his definitive portrait of modern Britain followed by a Q&A Sunday, May 28 at 5pm.

Sarah Pascoe’s new comedy performance, Success Story will showcase on Sunday, August 13 at 7.45pm.

The star of BBC2 stand-up special Sara Pascoe: LadsLadsLads will be exploring her decision to become famous at 14, her audition for Barrymore, and how she ruined Hugh Grant’s birthday.

Regent’s Park Open Air theatre has also announced The Luna Cinema will show Elvis on Sunday, August 20 at 7.45pm.

Baz Luhrmann’s latest sensation explores the life and music of Presley from childhood to the ‘King of Rock n’ Roll’, packed with glittering outfits and an iconic soundtrack.

On Sunday, September 10, at 7.45pm, the cinema will show Grease.

You will be able to watch Danny, Sandy, Rizzo and Kenickie navigate high school romances and friendships on the big outdoor screen, accompanied by a soundtrack we all know inside out.
