Released Portsmouth winger training with AFC Wimbledon
Recently released Portsmouth winger Ronan Curtis has been training with AFC Wimbledon in a bid to return to full fitness from a serious ACL injury.
The South London Press understands that the 27-year-old has been training with the Dons since leaving Fratton Park.
Ex-Pompey physio Bobby Bacic, who worked with Curtis before, joined Wimbledon over the summer.
Curtis, who has been capped multiple times by the Republic of Ireland at the international level, scored 57 goals in 226 appearances for Portsmouth.
Pompey offered Curtis a new deal over the summer after he suffered an ACL injury in February against Bolton, but he turned it down.
Johnnie Jackson’s side head to Portsmouth on Tuesday night for their EFL Trophy second-leg clash.
