‘A dangerous football team’ – Derby County earn praise ahead of trip to Millwall on Saturday

Adam Barrett has praised the resolve of Derby County and their staff ahead of their trip to the Den on Saturday. Millwall are set to lock horns with the Rams, who were deducted 12 points earlier this season after slipping into administration.
The visitors have a host of other issues away from the pitch with Wayne Rooney’s side one of the favourites to drop into League One. But Derby have shown signs of life following their deduction – and Barrett is adamant that the Lions will need to be at their best to get a result.

“They’ve done really well,” said Barrett ahead of the game. “They’ve shown a lot of resolve. They’re picking points up and it’s going to be a difficult game. Again, they’ve got good players in their squad and they’re fighting for their lives, so we’re expecting it to be a really difficult game.

“There’s no easy game in this division, so we’ve got to make sure we’re at it on Saturday, and if we’re not, then we’ll get turned over.
“It’s another big game and they’re a dangerous, dangerous football team – so we’ve got to make sure we’re right.”
