Addicks face anxious wait to learn extent of Miles Leaburn knock
Charlton face an anxious wait to learn the extent of Miles Leaburn’s injury after the striker was forced off during the 4-2 win over Exeter City.
The young forward had opened the scoring for the South Londoners during the first period but limped off midway through the second half.
The 18-year-old, who is now up to five goals in all competitions during his maiden senior season, started alongside Jayden Stockley and broke the deadlock on 20 minutes with a composed finish.

Boss Ben Garner said: “He just rolled his ankle. It’s being assessed as we speak. Hopefully nothing serious because he was excellent tonight, brilliant. He’s coming on leaps and bounds. We’re very much fingers crossed for good news with that. He’s still a young man. We can’t get too carried away but he’s developing really nicely.
“On the training ground working with him and away in Spain, everything that was going in was staying in. This lad’s going to come on leaps and bounds because he’s a sponge. He wants to learn, wants to improve. Combine that with the ability and physical profile he’s got. Wonderful return for him so far this season.
“We’ve got to keep doing right by him. Keep developing him the right way. He’s doing fantastically well and I’m sure there’s a lot of proud people around.”
