AFC Wimbledon midfielder charged by FA following MK win

AFC Wimbledon midfielder Harry Pell has been charged by the FA for allegedly kicking balls at Milton Keynes fans during the warm-up.

Videos on social media apparently show the 32-year-old kicking balls into the stand where the away fans were.

Pell was an unused substitute as Ronan Curtis scored a last-minute winner in second-half stoppage time to spark wild scenes of jubilation at Plough Lane.

The former Accrington Stanley midfielder has until Monday to respond to the charge.

An FA spokesperson said: “AFC Wimbledon’s Harry Pell has been charged with misconduct following their EFL League Two game against Milton Keynes.

“It’s alleged that the midfielder acted in an improper manner in the warm-up before the game and he has until Monday 11 March to provide a response.”
