Another Den sellout – Millwall confirm bumper crowd for Luton

Millwall have confirmed that Friday’s clash at home to fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Luton Town is sold out.

The Lions are fifth in the table and six points behind fourth-placed Luton.

Rob Edwards’ side head to The Den unbeaten in their last five league outings and six points off the top two spots in the table.

A record attendance of 18,785 turned up for the 3-2 defeat to Norwich City in early March.

The reverse fixture saw these two sides play out a 2-2 draw. Zian Flemming and Tom Bradshaw put Gary Rowett’s side 2-0 up, but goals from Elijah Adebayo and Luke Berry saw the sides share the points.

Speaking after the draw at West Brom last weekend, Rowett said: “We’ve worked hard to be where we are. There are seven games left.

“I don’t think you’re going to be out of touch, I don’t think you are going to be miles off teams and sitting pretty with three games to go. We’ve got to just keep chalking up points.”
