Battersea’s Denzel Bentley to challenge for WBO International middleweight title
Battersea’s former British middleweight champion Denzel Bentley will face Danny Dignum on May 11.
Bentley, 29, lost his domestic title on a majority decision to Nathan Heaney in November.
Now the South Londoner (18-3-1, 15KOs) can win the WBO International belt on a show at Bethnal Green’s York Hall next month.
Basildon’s Dignum (16-1-1, nine KOs) has won twice since being halted in two rounds when he challenged for the WBO Interim world title against Zhanibek Alimkhanuly in May 2022.
