Blackburn Rovers v Charlton team news: Addicks dealt yet another injury blow as Holmes misses out
Charlton have been dealt yet another injury blow with Ricky Holmes forced to sit out today’s game with Blackburn Rovers with a quad injury.
The Addicks are already without the likes of Ahmed Kashi, Patrick Bauer and Tariqe Fosu – with Holmes adding to the list of unavailable players to Karl Robinson as he looks to get his promotion-chasing side’s form back on track.
The influential winger, who has scored six goals already this term, sits out as the Addicks head to Ewood Park, with summer signing Ben Reeves taking his place in the attacking three behind striker Josh Magennis.
Robinson is at least able to welcome defender Jason Pearce back into the fold following a knee injury, as the 30-year-old makes his first league start since a 1-1 draw with Bury in late-September. Naby Sarr drops to the bench.
Leon Best returns to his former side but starts amongst the substitutes.
Charlton: Amos, Solly, Konsa, Pearce, Dasilva, Aribo, Forster-Caskey, Clarke, Reeves, Marshall, Magennis. Subs: Phillips, Jackson, Best, Ahearne-Grant, Dodoo, Sarr, Lennon.
