Blackpool test in FA Cup for Bromley after recording 3-2 win over Wealdstone in fourth qualifying round

BY MYLES THORNTON

Bromley will face Blackpool in the first round of the FA Cup. The Ravens booked their passage with a 3-2 victory over Wealdstone yesterday at Hayes Lane.

Bromley debutant Alex Kirk opened the scoring after seven minutes. The ball was whipped in from a corner and he headed it into the back of the net.

Michael Cheek made it 2-0 soon after, Josh Passley put the ball across and the striker smashed it home.

Ben Krauhaus made it 3-0 in the 31st minute after Cheek’s dummy left him with only the goalkeeper to beat.

Wealdstone got one back in the 54th minute. Charlie Barker’s shot was blocked and it fell to Max Kretzschmar to rifle into the top of the net to give the visitors some hope.

Nathan Ferguson cut the deficit further when he scored in the third minute of stoppage time.
