Blackpool v Charlton Athletic team news: Karl Robinson makes four changes as Michal Zyro gets his first Addicks start

Karl Robinson rings the changes for tonight’s game at Blackpool, as his Charlton side look to bounce back from consecutive defeats.

The Addicks chief makes a total of four adjustments to the side beaten heavily at Peterborough on Saturday – giving Wolves loanee Michal Zyro his first start in a Charlton shirt in the process – as Lewis Page returns from a year out injured.

25-year-old Polish striker Zyro is making his first competitive start since an EFL Cup game for his parent club back in September, in a move that sees Josh Magennis revert to the wing. Crystal Palace loanee Sullay Kaikai misses out through injury.

Page features for the first time since a 1-1 draw with Bradford City in March 2017, with Naby Sarr dropping to the bench after filling in at the left-back role at London Road over the weekend.

Patrick Bauer returns to the starting line-up and will partner Jason Pearce at the centre of defence. Ezri Konsa will move into defensive midfield, with captain Johnnie Jackson amongst the substitutes.

Finally, Joe Aribo is also benched – Ben Reeves comes in and is also expected to feature on the wing, with Tariqe Fosu in the number ten role.

Charlton: Amos, Solly, Pearce, Bauer, Page, Forster-Caskey, Konsa, Reeves, Fosu, Magennis, Zyro. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Jackson, Marshall, Ajose, Aribo, Sarr, Lennon.
