Brighton winger set to make permanent switch to Millwall
Millwall are poised to sign young Brighton winger Benicio Baker-Boaitey.
The 21-year-old, born in Hammersmith, is undergoing a medical with the Championship side.
Baker-Boaitey started off in West Ham’s academy before Porto paid £190,000 in compensation.
Brighton snapped him up in the 2022 winter window, initially on loan with a permanent option.
He has been capped five times at England U20 level.
Baker-Boaitey has made five Premier League appearances for the Seagulls in the 2023-24 campaign and penned extended contractual terms in that period.
Millwall have already completed a transfer today with Luke Cundle joining from Wolves on a permanent deal.
Cundle has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Lions.
