Bromley boss pleased with professional second half in Harrogate win
Bromley boss Andy Woodman was pleased that his side delivered a professional second-half performance to see out their 2-0 win over Harrogate.
First-half goals from Michael Cheek and Jude Arthurs put the Ravens two up before half-time.
Woodman’s side completely nullified Harrogate in the second half and they stopped them from registering a shot on target.
“I was surprised we went in 2-0 up – I don’t think we were particularly good in the first half,” said Woodman.
“We couldn’t string too many passes together. But when we put quality crosses in, we reaped the rewards.
“We have players who want to get in the box and finish the crosses.
“We were professional and really workmanlike in the second half. We didn’t give them anything.
“We were in complete control. I’m really chuffed with the results, clean sheet and three wins on the spin.
“It was a tricky game. Everybody thinks it should be an easy game, but let’s remind ourselves that we’re fresh in the league.
“We’re onto the next one now.”
