Bromley pick up back-to-back League Two wins after three points in ‘tight’ Fleetwood clash
Andy Woodman was pleased his Bromley side edged out Fleetwood in a tight 1-0 win on Saturday.
The Ravens moved up to 11th in the League Two table and seven points off the play-offs through Michael Cheek’s 46th-minute strike.
Woodman’s side have now recorded back-to-back wins and Michael Cheek moved onto 15 Leeague Two goals for the season – one behind top scorer Matty Stevens.
“It was a tight game,” said Woodman.
“They come here with a gameplan of an away team.
“They made it difficult for us – we had to keep huffing and puffing.
“We started the second half quite sharp for once and got the goal.

“We pressed them high up the pitch, forced the error, and Cheeky put it away.
“It was a game of tight margins today. Grant Smith made a great save at the end of the game to win us the points.
“We have to be a difficult team to beat. When we have been at home, I have wanted to open up the game and go at teams, but we don’t have to do that.
“We play some good stuff, but when we have to be defensively sound – we were that today.”
