Bromley start fast in 4-1 victory over Yeovil at Hayes Lane

BY JOSH BUCK

Both teams came into this game in good form with the visitors Yeovil not having lost a game since November 8 and Bromley going unbeaten for six games before losing their previous fixture against Wrexham.

It did not take long for a fast-starting Bromley to get the first goal of the game with wingerLouis Dennis chipping the Yeovil keeper.

Bromley found the back of the net again in the 32nd minute. A corner was whipped in low from the left-hand side and Millwall loanee Besart Topalloj headed the ball in to double the Ravens lead and score his first goal for the club.

Bromley keeper Reice Charles-Cook made some great saves to keep the opposition out.

In the 54th minute Yeovil thought they had one back but it was immediately ruled for offside. Just minutes later at the other end Harry Forster rocked the crossbar with an effort which was cleared away.

Bromley continued to have chances on goal with Leyton Orient loanee Ethan Coleman taking a powerful strike at goal which landed directly into the keeper’s hands as Bromley looked to extend their lead even further.

Dennis made it 3-0 shortly after the hour mark.

Yeovil quickly got one back, Peterborough loanee Andrew Oluwabori finishing off a well-crafted counter attack.

Corey Whitely slotted one home to make it 4-1 to the Ravens after three shots were blocked inside the Yeovil box.

Bromley welcome Aldershot Town to Hayes Lane on Saturday.
