Bromley striker and AFC Wimbledon boss up for monthly League Two awards

Bromley striker Michael Cheek and AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson have been nominated for League Two awards.

Cheek, 33, is up for the Player of the Month award in February after three goals and two assists in that period.

Cheek scored the winner at Fleetwood while also collecting a goal and assist against Harrogate.

Other players in the running for the accolade are Hakeeb Adelakun (Salford City), Antoni Sarcevic (Bradford) and Nick Townsend (Newport County).

Cheek is joint top of the divisional goal charts with 16 goals – the same as Wimbledon’s Matty Stevens and Alassana Jatta (Notts County).

Jackson has been nominated for Manager of the Month for February – after a second successive month without tasting defeat.

The Dons collected 12 points from six matches and kept five clean sheets.

Other bosses in the running are Graham Alexander (Bradford City), David Artell (Grimsby Town) and Darren Moore (Port Vale).
