Burton Albion v Charlton Athletic team news: Lyle Taylor returns from suspension as Bowyer makes three changes
Lyle Taylor returns from suspension to start this evening as Charlton travel to Burton Albion.
Addicks boss Lee Bowyer makes three changes in total from Saturday’s 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers at The Valley as the South Londoners make their first ever trip to the Pirelli Stadium.
Naby Sarr and Tariqe Fosu also come into the starting line-up as Charlton go in search of a fourth straight League One victory.
Taylor had been suspended after picking up his fifth league booking of the season in the 2-0 win at Walsall three weeks ago, but comes back in as Nicky Ajose reverts to starting from the bench.
Nottingham Forest-loanee Jamie Ward, who bagged his first Addicks goal on Saturday, joins Ajose amongst the substitutes, with Fosu coming back into the midfield.
Naby Sarr will come in to start in the left-back berth, which will allow Chris Solly to play on his more comfortable right-hand side of the defence, with Anfernee Dijksteel benched.
Charlton: Steer, Solly, Pearce, Bauer, Sarr, Bielik, Lapslie, Aribo, Fosu, Grant, Taylor. Subs: Phillips, Marshall, Dijksteel, Ward, Ajose, Hackett-Fairchild, Stevenson.
