Celtic looking to wrap deal for versatile Crystal Palace player

Celtic are looking to beat the deadline to land Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp on loan.

Schlupp is allowed to leave Selhurst Park with the imminent arrival of Ben Chilwell on loan from Chelsea.

The 32-year-old has made 13 appearances in the Premier League this season from the bench.

Schlupp joined from Leicester in 2017 under Sam Allardyce and has made 247 outings in all competitions.

He has racked up 34 goal contributions during his time with the Eagles.
