Charlton Athletic boss provides injury update ahead of Doncaster Rovers match

Charlton Athletic have got no fresh injury worries for Saturday’s home game against Doncaster Rovers.

The Addicks have been missing Jason Pearce (knee) since the 2020-21 campaign got under way.

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer took off Macauley Bonne at half-time in Tuesday’s 3-0 EFL Cup loss to West Ham to make sure he was ready for this weekend’s League One fixture.

But he had some positive news on club captain Pearce.

“Pearcey is outside jogging now,” said Bowyer. “He’ll still be a little while [before he is back available].”
