Charlton Athletic defender Elerewe makes Bromley transfer

Charlton Athletic centre-back Deji Elerewe has completed a permanent transfer to Bromley.

The League One club have not disclosed the terms of the move but have first refusal option should they want to bring the defender back to SE7.

Charlton also have sell-on clauses included.

Elerewe, 20, has had two previous loans with Bromley, who are pushing for promotion from the National League.

The Addicks academy product has played just 43 minutes of League One football this season with his 90-minute runouts coming in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup.

Charlton technical director Andy Scott said: “It’s a really good move for Deji, who is going to a club he knows well and has succeeded at.

“He’s a fantastic young man who is a credit to our academy. We wish him all the best and will be keeping an eye on his progress.”
