Charlton Athletic director Richard Murray is set to provide an update on takeover talks this week.

Addicks owner Roland Duchatelet has been in negotiations with interested parties for months – publicly confirming he was looking to sell before the end of 2017.

Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust, who had a meeting with Murray a few weeks ago, have revealed there is set to be more news.

“In terms of detail he will continue to be constrained by the terms of the non-disclosure agreements which are in place,” said the trust in a statement.

“But he is very conscious of the level of interest among Charlton fans about the issue of the club’s ownership and the frustration many are feeling about the current situation. We anticipate that he will be seeking to keep fans as well informed as possible.”
