Charlton Athletic receive positive prognosis for Corey Blackett-Taylor’s hip injury

Corey Blackett-Taylor could be back in contention for Tuesday’s home game with Milton Keynes, says Charlton boss Ben Garner.

The winger was absent for the Addicks’ 1-0 win at Shrewsbury Town but Garner says they’ve had positive news on his hip complaint.

Garner explained: “Hopefully just days for that. Outside chance for Tuesday [against Milton Keynes]. Hopefully by Saturday [against Ipswich] if not.

“It’s his hip flexor. It’s only very minor but it’s one of those you couldn’t take the risk with today. A minor injury could become a serious injury, so we didn’t want to do that today. It was just being safe with him today and making sure that injury doesn’t get worse. We’ll assess now into Tuesday and if not Tuesday then I’m very hopeful he’ll be back Saturday.”

Why do you use that photo of Corey Blackett-Taylor? I am sure you would have dozens of photographs of him in a Charlton kit. It’s seems when you want to put a negative perspective on him you publish this photograph ?
