Charlton Athletic set to have injured player back for Crewe – but winger Jaiyesimi misses out

Charlton duo Ryan Inniss and Ian Maatsen both look set to be available for tomorrow’s game against Crewe after training today – but Diallang Jaiyesimi will miss out.

Jaiyesimi came off with a hamstring problem in the first period of Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Peterborough United.

Inniss was holding his left knee before being replaced in the closing stages of the last League One match.

Chelsea loanee Maatsen has missed the last three games with a hip injury which forced him off in the 2-1 victory at Sunderland.

“DJ, a big blow really, he’s not fit for this game,” Adkins told the South London Press. “We’ve got good medical staff here, that’s an important message. He’s not fit for this game, and let’s see how we progress from there.

“He [Inniss] trained this morning. Ian has trained with the group this morning as well.”
