Charlton Athletic spending on agents’ fees revealed as FA publishes breakdown
Charlton Athletic spent £250,000 on agents’ fees, in figures published by the FA.
The costs apply from February 1, 2022 until January 31, 2023.
Five clubs spent more than the Addicks over that period – Derby (£1,064,645), Ipswich Town (£849,652), Fleetwood Town (£506,082), Sheffield Wednesday (404,098) and Oxford United (£381,828).
Charlton signed Jojo Wollacott, Eoghan O’Connell, Mandela Egbo and Conor McGrandles in that period.
Jake Forster-Caskey and Craig MacGillivray had their contracts cancelled. The former joined Stevenage while the latter signed for Burton Albion.
The lowest spender was Exeter (£60,351).
