Charlton Athletic v Blackpool team news: Akin Famewo starts as Lee Bowyer makes three changes

Akin Famewo returns to the starting line up as Lee Bowyer makes three changes for today’s home clash with Blackpool.

The Norwich loanee is joined by Chris Gunter and Conor Washington from the off as the Addicks go in search of a first home win in eight games.

Famewo will partner Deji Oshilaja in the heart of the defence as he continues his rehabilitation from long-term injury – Jason Pearce drops to the bench. Gunter, who was rested for the defeat against Burton Albion in midweek, replaces Adam Matthews at right-back.

Washington starts for the first time since the 1-0 win at Milton Keynes a month ago and will play alongside Jayden Stockley up front.

Ben Watson also drops out to the bench.
