Charlton Athletic v Cambridge United team line-ups: Appleton makes plenty of changes
Charlton Athletic head coach Michael Appleton has made six changes from the side which were knocked out of the FA Cup by Gillingham last weekend.
The Addicks have an extensive injury list and centre-back Lloyd Jones misses out with a minor quad problem. It means that Terell Thomas partners Michael Hector in the middle of the defence with Deji Elerewe recalled from his loan spell at Bromley.
Lucas Ness, Miles Leaburn, Chuks Aneke and Conor McGrandles are also all injured.
There is also a start for academy product Henry Rylah.
Cambridge appointed former Millwall manager Neil Harris earlier this week.
The U’s are bidding to avoid four consecutive league matches. The visitors have won just one of their last eight league trips to SE7, a 2-1 success in November 1991.
