Charlton Athletic v Cheltenham team line-ups: Sam Lavelle handed debut
Samuel Lavelle has been handed his Charlton Athletic debut as one of two changes made by manager Nigel Adkins.
The centre-back, a transfer deadline day signing from Morecambe, comes into the side in place of Ryan Inniss, who does not make the bench due to an injury.
The other switch for the Addicks for today’s visit of Cheltenham sees Luton Town loanee Elliot Lee start with Conor Washington, who only returned at the back end of the week after international duty with Northern Ireland, on the bench.
Jonathan Leko and Pape Souare, two of the latter deals done by the Addicks, also take up substitute slots.
Charlton are looking to make it three wins on the spin in all competitions after a confidence-boosting 6-1 drubbing of Crawley Town in the EFL Trophy last time out.
It is only the second meeting of the two clubs. The Addicks lost 1-0 to Cheltenham in the EFL Cup in August 2016.
