Charlton Athletic v Oxford United team news: Four changes as Chuks Aneke makes surprise return to squad
BY LOUIS MENDEZ
Lee Bowyer makes four changes for this evening’s clash with Oxford United.
Alfie Doughty misses out after picking up an injury during the 2-0 win at Northampton on Saturday, the Addicks’ third win in succession. Dylan Levitt, Jake Forster-Caskey and Jonny Williams all drop to the bench.
Darren Pratley, who scored the opening goal at Sixfields after being introduced as a half-time substitute, reclaims his place in the starting line-up. Ben Watson, Andrew Shinnie and Conor Washington also start as Bowyer continues to rotate his squad during a relentless run of eight games in four weeks.
The Addicks are boosted by the return of Chuks Aneke to the squad after a minor groin knock – the forward takes his place amongst the substitutes.
Charlton: Amos, Maatsen, Famewo, Inniss, Gunter, Watson, Pratley, Shinnie, Washington, Bogle, Smyth. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Purrington, Williams, Forster-Caskey, Aneke, Maddison, Levitt.
