Charlton Athletic v Peterborough team line-ups: Leon Best straight into starting line-up – as Karl Robinson keeps Posh in dark over latest addition

New signing Leon Best comes straight into the starting line-up for Charlton’s clash with Peterborough this evening, writes Louis Mendez.
The former Newcastle man put pen-to-paper on a short-term deal with the Addicks before yesterday’s midday deadline in order to be eligible for tonight’s game – although manager Karl Robinson is understood to have asked for the announcement to be delayed until today in order to save showing his hand to opposite number Grant McCann too far ahead of the game.
Best’s inclusion will see Josh Magennis pushed out onto the wing – a position he has often played in for Northern Ireland.
Chris Solly, who made his 250th appearance for the club in the defeat at Scunthorpe on Saturday, misses out through injury.
Ezri Konsa will start at right-back, with Patrick Bauer and Naby Sarr holding the fort in central defence.
Charlton: Amos, Konsa, Bauer, Sarr, Dasilva, Forster-Caskey, Kashi, Magennis, Holmes, Marshall, Best. Subs: Phillips, Dijksteel, Jackson, Aribo, Dodoo, Ahearne-Grant, Hackett-Fairchild.
