Charlton Athletic v Wycombe Wanderers team line-ups: Alfie May returns to starting line-up
Alfie May is recovered from his concussion and able to start for Charlton Athletic in today’s League One match against Wycombe Wanderers.
The summer signing from Cheltenham missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Stevenage.
May has scored in his last three matches for the Addicks and has been directly involved in 20 goals in 30 league appearances in 2023.
He is one of three changes made by head coach Michael Appleton with Chem Campbell and Karoy Anderson both dropping to the bench while Tayo Edun missed out with a hamstring injury. It means there are also starts for Louie Watson and Terell Thomas.
Wycombe are unbeaten in their last four matches against the South Londoners – drawing two out of the last four matches. Their most recent reverse to Charlton came in April 2019.
