Charlton Athletic’s EFL Cup tie at Manchester United gets confirmed date
Charlton’s EFL Cup quarter-final tie against Manchester United will take place on January 10.
The fixture at Old Trafford has not been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports.
The Addicks, the only non Premier League club left in the competition, have been allocated 7,000 tickets. They booked their place in the last eight with a penalty shootout win against Brighton.
“When tickets do go on sale, priority will be determined using the club’s loyalty point scheme, as with any high-demand away game,” said Charlton in a statement on their official website.
“The club will confirm details of tickets going on sale on Wednesday, December 28th, and will update supporters via email and on the club’s website and social media channels ahead of tickets going on sale.
“If you aren’t sure if you are opted in to the club’s emails, and would like to be, please email tickets@cafc.co.uk.”
