Charlton keeper makes Qatar switch

Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Ahmed Kone has joined Qatari side Al-Khor SC.

Al-Khor ply their trade in the Qatari Second Division and finished as runners-up behind league winners Al Muaidar.

They are managed by Brazilian coach Sergio Farias.

Kone, 18, has signed a deal with the club until 2028.

Charlton have given professional deals to Patrick Casey, Keenan Gough, Toby Bower, Ollie Hobden, Henry Rylah, Nathan Asiimwe, Chibike Okechukwu, Kai Enslin, Harvey Kedwell and Josh Laqeretabua.
