Charlton striker Miles Leaburn wins League One Player of the Month award

Miles Leaburn has won League One Player of the Month for December.

The Charlton striker, 21, scored four goals and also collected two assists in that period.

Leaburn has netted eight times in 18 appearances since returning from a major hamstring injury at the start of October.

“We’re really pleased for Miles to be picking up the Player of the Month award as a reward for his work not just recently, but in the last year,” said Addicks manager Nathan Jones.

“He has worked hard and with a real focus to get back to the level he’s been at in recent games.

“He’s a striker with excellent technical and physical attributes, who has a real desire to continue to improve, and it is great to see him scoring and creating goals and impacting games.”

Charlton are adamant they will not be parting with Lloyd Jones in this month’s transfer window.

The 28-year-old centre-back is due to be a free agent in the summer.
