Chelsea make Michael Olise approach – with other Premier League sides interested in Crystal Palace attacker

Chelsea have made an approach for Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise, the South London Press understands.

Premier League rivals Manchester City and Liverpool are also keen on a summer move for the 22-year-old.

Olise, who has been called up to Thierry Henry’s provisional squad for the Olympics in France, penned a new four-year deal with the Eagles in August after Chelsea wanted to sign him last summer transfer window.

The ex-Chelsea youngster picked up 16 goal contributions in 19 Premier League outings last season.

Olise’s current Palace deal runs until 2027 and has a release clause which would surpass the ÂŁ50million the Eagles sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for in 2019, meaning any club would have to stump up a club-record outgoing fee.

Palace are also set to sign Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada.
