Chris Solly banned for four games as Charlton Athletic appeal is rejected

Chris Solly is banned for the next four matches after Charlton Athletic’s appeal over his red card against Oxford United was not overturned.

With the Addicks looking almost certain to be in the play-offs, it means the experienced right-back will also sit out the first leg of the League One play-offs.

Because Solly has already been dismissed once this season it means he gets an extra game on his suspension.

The Charlton stalwart was dismissed for a late challenge on Jamie Mackie at the Kassam Stadium.
