Coventry City on lengthy unbeaten home run ahead of Millwall visit
Millwall will be aiming to end Coventry City’s 10-game unbeaten home run in Sunday’s Championship encounter.
The Sky Blues have only lost once at home all season – a 2-0 reverse to West Bromwich Albion on October 30.
Mark Robins’ side were 4-1 winners over Sheffield Wednesday in Tuesday’s FA Cup replay with playmaker Callum O’Hare striking twice with Kasey Palmer and Haji Wright also on target.
Coventry have scored 15 goals in their last four games at the CBS Arena. Millwall’s recent trips there have been a mixed bag. Tom Bradshaw’s goal earned a 1-0 win in December 2021 but Viktor Gyokeres settled last season’s corresponding fixture in the hosts’ favour – and the South Londoners were mauled 6-1 in May 2021.
“When they’re on it and when it clicks it’s absolutely outstanding,” said Robins after the victory over the Owls. “When they want to play, that’s what they can achieve. If they can carry on in that vein then we’re in for some real treats from now until the end of the season.
“We had some really good possession and some scintillating bits of play – we have Callum O’Hare, who is on fire.”
