Croydon Women set for top-of-the-table clash against Ashmount Leigh

Croydon Women are set for a top-of-the-table clash against Ashmount Leigh at the Croydon Sports Arena.

The Trams have only lost once this season in the Surrey Premier Divison – a 3-1 defeat to Ashmount away.

The two sides are separated by just a point, with the South Londoners having a far superior goal difference to their upcoming opponents.

Ashmount sit top of the table with 25 points, followed by Croydon with 24 and Sutton United reserves on 21 points. The trio have a 12-point buffer to fourth-placed Guildford City.

The match is at the Croydon Sports Arena on February 5, 2pm kick-off. Entry is free.

Croydon, who originally started out as a U18 side before switching to competing at an adult level in the past three seasons, went undefeated last season as they won the Greater London South Division2 title and were promoted to the Premier Division.
