Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise close to finalising Bayern Munich move

Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is poised to make a permanent switch to German giants Bayern Munich.

The South London Press understands the move is 99 per cent complete, with just the finer details on agent fees left to be wrapped up.

Olise informed Palace of his decision to join the six-time Champions League winners on June 21 and has agreed personal terms ahead of a move away from Selhurst Park.

The 22-year-old wanted to play Champions League football and turned down proposals from Chelsea and Newcastle this summer.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool were also all eyeing a move for the French attacker this summer.

Olise, who has been away with the France U23 squad ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games, picked up 16 goal contributions in an injury-hit Premier League campaign last season for the Eagles.

He joined from Reading in 2021 in an £8million deal and registered 90 outings for the South Londoners in three seasons.
