Crystal Palace attacker set for Bayern Munich move

Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise is set to join Bayern Munich after choosing the Bundesliga side over Newcastle and Chelsea, the South London Press understands.

Olise joined Palace from Reading in July 2021 after the Eagles triggered his then £8million buyout clause.

The 22-year-old Frenchman picked up 41 goal contributions in 90 outings for the South Londoners, picking up 16 returns in 19 Premier League outings last season.

Our paper reported on Wednesday that the Eagles were yet to formally offer Olise a fresh deal at Selhurst Park.

Olise signed a new four-year deal with Palace last summer to turn down interest from Chelsea.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United have all shown interest in Olise this summer.

He has been named in Thierry Henry’s France preliminary squad for this summer’s Olympic Games.
